Encinitas Bike Walk Quarterly Meeting

You are invited to the Encinitas BikeWalk quarterly meeting, which will be held on Thursday, May 8th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Fox Point Farms.

Our speaker will be Nathan Schmidt, the city of Carlsbad’s transportation and mobility manager. Nathan will share the city’s experience implementing a lane reduction on Hwy 101, navigating the Coastal Commission, and obtaining other necessary approvals.

Nathan Schmidt, AICP, has over fourteen years of experience in planning and implementing transportation projects throughout California and Hawaii. His experience includes bicycle and pedestrian master plans, transit access studies, multimodal corridor studies and transportation analysis and operations planning.

Riding your bike or walking to the meeting is encouraged, and as a bonus, bike parking is right next to the meeting spot. If you choose to drive, and parking is full at Fox Point Farms, additional parking is available a 1/4 mile south on Paseo de la Flores.
