SUMMARY:Santa Fe Drive: The Good\, The Bad\, The Ugly
DESCRIPTION:Walk with Tom Bertulis\, Traffic Engineer\, to get a comprehensive understanding of the design attributes and issues with the Santa Fe Drive Corridor Improvements (Western Phase) project.  \nWe will walk through the entire Western Phase project\, spanning from Nardo Road/MacKinnon Avenue to Windsor Road/Bonita Drive. Elements that we will discuss: \n\nSeparated bikeways\nDiagonal head-out parking\nLane width\nPedestrian crosswalk and island\nLandscaping beds\nBus stop\nProtected intersections (Proposed\, but not implemented)\n\nWe will meet on the corner of Santa Fe Dr. and Nardo Dr. at the San Dieguito Academy (SDA) sign. The tour will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Please bring your own snacks\, water\, and sunscreen. Ironically\, there are no formal bike facilities at the meetup spot. Bikes can be locked up at the high school. \n
